Connecting Google Analytics (GA4)

If your team already lives in Google Analytics, you can point it at your tenant's public-facing pages with a single field — no code changes required.

Before you start

You need a GA4 property already set up in Google Analytics, and its Measurement ID, which looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX. You need the Admin role in your tenant.

Connecting it

  1. Open Settings → Analytics.
  2. Paste your GA4 Measurement ID into the field.
  3. Save.

What happens next

The GA4 tracking tag loads on your tenant's pages, but it only starts collecting real, sendable analytics data once a visitor accepts non-essential cookies through your cookie banner. See how the cookie banner gates your analytics data for why the tag loads either way.

Notes

There's currently one GA4 property per tenant — you can't point different branches at different Measurement IDs.
